■ A Rakugo performance by Ms. Diane Kichijitsu in the North of England - Report

On June 22nd, we collaborated with the Japanese Studies department of Durham University to host a Rakugo performance by Ms. Diane Kichijitsu, originally from Liverpool, at the Culture Center of Teikyo University in Durham. The event was attended by a large number of academics and government officials, including Sue Snowdon, Lord Lieutenant of County Durham, and laughter filled the venue from start to finish.
