■ National Bonsai Exhibition Visit – Report ↓ On Saturday 14 May, Mr Daisuke Matsunaga, the Consul General of Japan made his first visit to the National Bonsai Exhibition held at the Mayfield Centre in Stirling . The CG took his time to appreciate every individual Bonsai made by the members of the Scottish Bonsai Association, and carefully selected one of them as the Consul General Award. The exhibition also had a section of Bonsai drawing competition for the local primary school pupils in the area where some of the works were also selected for awards. The CG really enjoyed his time at the event, and was deeply impressed by all of the heartfelt works - it was indeed a tough call to select the winners due to all the amazing arts!
