■ Japanese high school and university students attending Summer School at Stirling University - Message from Concul General
About sixty Japanese high school and university students are attending the summer school of the University of Stirling to improve their English skills for three/four weeks. On the evening of Wednesday 3 August, Professor Gerry McCormac, Principal of the University, held a welcoming party for the students to which we were invited. Ms Kerry Bryson from the university administration gave us a heart-warming welcome speech. I encouraged the students to make the most of this opportunity, and expressed my hope that August 2016 would become one of their unforgettable memories.
