We would like to introduce another artist performing at the Edinburgh Fringe who made a courtesy call on Consul General Mr Matsunaga on August 9th.
Kensaku Satou is a taiko drummer who also performed at the Fringe last year. Kensaku Satou is the figure in the photo wearing the hakama (traditional Japanese trousers). This year, as well as performing at the Fringe, he plans to introduce taiko to even more people by carrying out workshops at the Scotland Japanese School and a school for the handicapped.
If you’re planning to go to the Fringe, this is one event you won’t want to miss. If you want to hear a traditional Japanese taiko performance, Kensaku Satou’s show is a must-see.
