Ambassador Tsuruoka’s visit to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and meeting with the Japan Ground Self-Defence Force Central Band

On August 21st (Monday), the Japanese Ambassador to the United Kingdom Mr Tsuruoka and Mrs Tsuraoka, together with Consul General Matsunaga and Mrs Matsunaga, met the 52 members of the Japan Ground Self-Defence Force Central Band, who are performing at the Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo from the 4th to the 26th of August. The Ambassador and the Consul General paid tribute to the band and encouraged them to keep up their fantastic work until the last day of the Tattoo.
In the evening Ambassador and Mrs Tsuruoka, together with Consul General and Mrs Matsunaga, watched the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and enjoyed the musical performances.
With only a few days of the Tattoo left, we hope as many spectators as possible will be able to enjoy this fantastic show.
