Tree planting ceremony at the Residence

On 23rd March, a tree planting ceremony was held at the Residence of Consul General Daisuke Matsunaga. A lone pine tree was presented by Patron of the Japan Society of Scotland Lord Charles Bruce and Scottish Shotokan Karate master Mr Ronnie Watt OBE. A plaque of “50 years of friendship” was planted with the young tree in the garden of the Residence.
