Courtesy visit to Police Scotland Chief Constable

On 13th March 2019, Consul General Nozomu Takaoka paid a courtesy visit to Chief Constable of Police Scotland Ian Livingdton QPM.
During their meeting they discussed issues surrounding Brexit, maintaining the safety of the Japanese community and Japanese companies as well as the current security situation in Scotland. Both Chief Constable and the Consul General agreed to continue to strengthen the mutual cooperation between Police Scotland and the Consulate General of Japan in Edinburgh.
