On the 13th of August, Consul General Takaoka visited the Edinburgh City Chambers to present the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, Mr Frank Ross, with the book “Floral Clocks in Japan and Across the World” gifted by its author, Mr Yagi Tsutomu.

In the book, the writer Mr Tsutomu, introduces the world’s various floral clocks, including the world’s oldest remaining piece found in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens—first constructed in 1903.

The Provost expressed his gratitude to Mr. Yagi for including this proud achievement in Edinburgh’s history within the book.
