On 29th January, the Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Humza Yousaf MSP, introduced Consul General Nozomu Takaoka to one of his young Glasgow Pollock constituents, Bronwyn Gilgallon.
Ms. Gilgallon has recently returned from Japan, where she gave inspirational talks on the power of art as a means of communication and overcoming adversity.
To thank Japan for the warm welcome she received, Ms. Gilgallon presented the Consul General with an original piece of her artwork symbolizing the thistle and sakura.
