On 18th February, Fiona Hyslop MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Fair Work and Culture, graciously accepted Consul General Takaoka’s invitation to listen to the views of major Japanese businesses in Scotland at his residence.
It was a timely meeting convened shortly after the UK’s departure from the EU on Fiona Hyslop’s second day in office as the new Economy Secretary.
