3rd Annual Neuroscience Symposium at Edinburgh University (3rd February)

On the 3rd of February Consul General Nozomu Takaoka attended the 3rd annual Neuroscience Symposium at Edinburgh University, co-hosted by the UK’s Medical Research Council and the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development. This symposium was held as part of the Japan-UK Season of Culture and addressed by distinguished academics from UK and Japanese universities and institutions.
In his speech, Mr Takaoka highlighted the collaborative links between Scottish and Japanese universities in research into neurodegeneration, as well as ongoing development in pharmaceuticals for dementia sufferers.
