On 12th February, Consul General Takaoka visited the Shin-Etsu Handotai (SEH) Europe manufacturing facility located in Livingston.
Since its establishment in 1984, the Scottish branch of the Shin-Etsu Group has been manufacturing silicon wafers, which are used as materials for semiconductors. Through the use of Japanese technologies, Shin-Etsu Handotai occupies the top position in the global market.
