| On Friday 9th of July, a Judo PR event will be held on the Consulate’s Facebook page. On this day, George Kerr CBE, who was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun in 2011 and Takafumi Kitahara, an assistant coach representing Judo Scotland, are invited to give a demonstration and lecture on the history of Judo and key points to keep an eye out for when watching a Judo match.
