Last year, when the corona pandemic struck it put the usual fringe festivities on hold. However at that time a new, unique showcase of Fringe loving Japanese performers was forged—the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Japan. Since then, the Edinburgh Festival fringe Japan has continued to expanded and is underway now.

In addition to a message from Consul General Nozomu Takaoka on Fringe Japan and Lindsay Jackson, Deputy Director of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Office, there will be a series of videos of many of the performers and artists.

With even more performers than last year, there is plenty of to see and enjoy at this year's Fringe Japan.

In addition to more and more content throughout the exhibition, which runs until the end of August, we will be posting talks by performers hosted by the museum on 19 and 26 August.
