Memorandum of Understanding between Scottish Enterprise and Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems Europe Ltd.

On 2nd November, Acting Consul General Masami Fujimoto attended the signing ceremony of MOU between Scottish Enterprise (SE) and Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems Europe (M-ACE).
Scotland is aiming at achieving carbon zero by 2045 and attaches great importance to low-carbon technologies including heat pumps.
Michael Matheson MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero, Energy and Transport attended the ceremony and witnessed the cooperation between SE and M-ACE. On 4th November, The Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, Secretary of State for International Trade visited the factory and discussed about Mitsubishi’s heat pump technologies and their potential.
