On the 22nd, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara paid a courtesy call on the Lord Provost Aberdeen Councillor Barney Crocket.
The City of Aberdeen, is well known for its renewable energy sources, particularly offshore wind energy. The city has been collaborating with the cities of Nagasaki and Kobe in the energy sector. The discussion went on to further cooperation between Japan and Scotland especially in promotion of green energy.
