On the 24th, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara met with to Cabinet Secretary for the Constitution, External Affairs and Culture, Angus Robertson MSP. The Cabinet Secretary has a keen interest in Japan, writing in his book about Iwakura mission to Japan during Meiji era
They exchanged views on the importance of Japan and Scotland as trading partners and discussed how to further deepen relations through business and university exchanges.
