Lecture and demonstration on Japanese tea ceremony
On Wednesday 6th April, from 18:00 – 19:30pm,  the Asian Studies department at the University of Edinburgh will be hosting a lecture and demonstration on Japanese tea ceremony.
 
The event will be conducted by the Omotesenke Tea Master, Soju Nakazawa, and will explore the theme,  “How Japanese Aesthetics Differs from the West”.
 
The event is planned to be held in person, in the event that this isn’t possible, the event will be held online via Zoom.
 
This is a free event, but due to limited numbers, pre-registering for a ticket is necessary.
 
Time: 18:00 – 19:30pm
