Support for Japanese players at Celtic FC (9th April)

On Saturday 9th April, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara was invited to attend a Scottish Premiership match by Celtic Football Club, who currently feature 4 Japanese players. Three of them impressed during the match, with Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Kyogo Furuhashi all making an appearance.
During the visit, the club spoke of the contributions made by Japanese players as well as long-term connections between Celtic and the J-League. The sale of merchandise related to the players was also discussed, with Celtic highlighting the warm reception that they had received among local fans.
