Fettes Tour
On Thursday the 26th of January, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara accepted an invitation to visit Fettes College. Established in 1870, Fettes College is an esteemed mixed-educational public school in the City of Edinburgh. Last year, as part of the UK-Japan Sakura Cherry Tree Project, a cherry blossom tree was planted near the school’s main entrance.

At the beginning of the visit, Consul General Fujiwara met with the school’s Head Helen Harrison, who explained the history of Fettes College and its educational policies, with the two exchanging opinions on the relationship between Japan and the school. Afterwards, the visit was guided by the head boy Kai Lewis, and the head girl Erika Taji, who gave a tour of the college's facilities.
