Courtesy Visit by Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara to Mr John Swinney, Deputy First Minister, Cabinet Secretary for Covid Recovery (2nd February 2023)

On Thursday the 2^nd of February, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara paid a courtesy visit to Mr John Swinney, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Covid Recovery. During their exchange of views, it was shared that Scotland has great potential in achieving decarbonisation, particularly in the field of renewable energy. Moreover, they agreed that there is much room for cooperation between Japan and Scotland, and it was confirmed that the two countries will further deepen their partnership and cooperation in this area, including new investments.
