Consul General gives speech
On Thursday, July 6th, Consul General Mr. Fujiwara, alongside Scottish Government members, local council members and officials, attended an event commemorating the 30th anniversary of Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems Europe (M-ACE), held at the company's premises in Livingston.
The event began with a greeting from M-ACE President Mr. Nagano, followed by congratulatory speeches by Consul General Mr. Fujiwara, Minister for Zero Carbon buildings, Active Travel and Tenant’s Rights Mr. Patrick Harvey, and Hannah Bardell MP. A commemorative plaque was then unveiled, followed by a factory tour by all participants.

Air conditioning equipment using heat pump technology pioneered by M-ACE is expected
to be a solution which helps towards the Scottish government's goal of achieving zero greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2045.
