Meeting with Orkney Japan Association’s Chairman (8th February 2024)

On February 8^th, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara met with Orkney Japan Association Chairman Malcolm Macrae for friendly conversation. Firstly, Chairman Macrae expressed his gratitude to the Consul General for mentioning OJA’s activities in his speech at the recent Emperor’s Birthday Celebration reception. After that, they exchanged opinions about various topics, including the island’s economic activities and tourism trends, and the state of preparations for the Taiko Drum event OJA has planned for March.
