Attendance at the annual Consular Corps Reception hosted by First Minister of Scotland, Rt Hon Humza Yousaf MSP (15th April 2024)

On the 15th of April, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara attended the annual Consular Corps Reception hosted by the First Minister of Scotland, Rt Hon Humza Yousaf MSP in Edinburgh Castle.
The event was attended by the First Minister, the Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Net Zero and Energy, Màiri McAllan MSP, and senior officials of the Scottish Government among others, allowing for interactions and the strengthening of ties within the consular delegation. Consul General Fujiwara exchanged views on the cooperative relationship between Japan and Scotland, particularly with the recent, large-scale investment in Scotland by Japanese companies, with Government Ministers and officials, including with the First Minister and Cabinet Secretary Màiri McAllan.
