Attendance at the meeting of the Scottish Parliament Cross-party Group on Japan (12 June 2024)

On the 12th of June 2024, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara attended a meeting of the Cross-party Group on Japan at the Scottish Parliament and gave a presentation on the recent cooperation between Japan and Scotland.
 
 
The hybrid meeting was attended by Consul General Fujiwara, Chairman Colin Smyth, Alexander Stewart MP, Mr. Liam MacArthur MP, Scottish Government, economic, educational and cultural officials, and representatives of organisations promoting friendship between Scotland and Japan. There was an active exchange of views on the future cooperation between Japan and Scotland, as well as the role that the Cross-party Group on Japan should play in the further development of Japan-Scotland relations.
