Meeting with First Minister of Scotland, John Swinney (27th June 2024)

On the 27th of June, Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara attended the U.S. Independence Day Reception hosted by the U.S. Consulate General in Edinburgh and met with First Minister of Scotland, John Swinney, who was the guest of honour. The First Minister stated that the recent visit of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan to the United Kingdom was a great pleasure, and the two exchanged views on the relationship between Japan and Scotland.
