Attendance at the opening event for the solo exhibition of ceramic artist Hitomi Hosono (8th February 2025)

On Saturday, 8th February, Deputy Consul General Minori Ishii attended the opening event of a solo exhibition by Japanese ceramic artist Hitomi Hosono, held at the Scottish Gallery.
Hitomi Hosono is a ceramic artist based in the UK. She won the inaugural Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon Prize and her delicate and "spiritual" works, which have a motif of nature, are also held in the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the National Museum of Scotland. There were many attendees at the event who had the opportunity to talk with Hitomi Hosono about each of her works.
Hitomi Hosono's first solo exhibition in Scotland, "Hitomi Hosono: The White Garden", will be held at the Scottish Gallery until the 1st of March 2025.
