Attendance at the 2025 World Wheelchair Curling Championships held in Auchenharvie Leisure Centre, Scotland. (2nd & 6th March 2025)

At the invitation of the Scottish World Wheelchair Curling Championships Office, Deputy Consul General Minori Ishii attended the 2025 World Wheelchair Curling Championships and cheered on Japan's mixed, four-a-side team, which had made it to the World Championships. The Championships were held at Auchenharvey Leisure Centre in Scotland, the birthplace of curling and a country that has made a major contribution to the creation of modern wheelchair curling rules.
On Sunday, March 2nd, Deputy Consul General Ishii watched the Japan vs. Scotland match, then moved to the SportScotland National Sports Training Centre, where the players' accommodation is located to have lunch with the team and deepen their bond.
In addition, on Thursday, March 6th, Deputy Consul General Ishii served as the presenter at the "Honour" event held before the match and gave her support to each and every member of the Japanese National Team. During the event, the Japanese national team was praised, awarded prizes, and sang the Japanese national anthem.
