Holding of Japanese Film Festival at Stirling University (26th February 2025)
2025/4/4

On 26 February, the Consulate General of Japan kicked off its annual Japanese film screening events with the showing of “Dogs Without Names(2015)” at the University of Stirling.
Starting with a greeting speech from Consul General Tadashi Fujiwara, the film was preceded by informative lectures given by Mrs Noriko Tabner and Suzanne Ruby of Paws for Progress, an organisation which provides unique dog-assisted learning programmes in prisons, schools, and the local community.
Thanks to the efforts and assistance of the University, the film screening was able to be held successfully in Stirling for the first time in many years. The film was very well attended and everyone joined the reception afterwards to enjoy Japanese sake, sushi and snacks.
