Attendance at the North East England Japanese Saturday School Entrance Ceremony

On Saturday 5th April, Acting Consul General Minori Ishii attended the entrance ceremony for the North East England Japanese Saturday school. In her congratulatory speech to the new students, Acting Consul General Ishii said, "What is particularly noteworthy about the Saturday school is that everyone, not only the students themselves but also their parents and the steering committee, work together as one big community. I hope you all will continue to work together to make this an even better school.”
In addition, the national anthem was sung, and welcoming words were given by current students, creating a moving atmosphere throughout the event.
