On 16th July, Consul General Katsutoshi Takeda paid a visit to the University of St Andrews. The university is the oldest in Scotland, having been founded in 1413. During the visit, Professor R Brad MacKay, the Deputy Principal of the University of St Andrews, talked about the university’s activities and connection to Japan and agreed to keep working on the connection between the two in the future. The Consul General also visited a business school that was established in recent years and exchanged opinions on a wide range of topics, including international initiatives and executive education, which the school focuses on, as well as collaboration with Japanese companies and universities.

After that, Mr Tim Ringrose, Head of Executive Education, provided a guided tour of the university.
