Visit from Dr Baker, Scotland’s first Trade Envoy to Japan

On Friday 8th August, Consul General Katsutoshi Takeda received a visit from Dr Stephen Baker, Scotland’s Trade Envoy to Japan. They engaged in broad discussions on recent investment trends from Japan to Scotland, including renewable energy, Scotland's activities at the Osaka Kansai Expo, and the upcoming overseas atomic bomb exhibition 'Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Exhibition' to be held at Stirling University from October. Both agreed to continue cooperating in the future to deepen the relationship between Japan and Scotland.
