Attendance at Edinburgh Napier University’s International Engagement and Student Support Event

On Wednesday 19th November, Cultural Consul Masataka Abe attended Edinburgh Napier University’s International Engagement and Student Support event.
First, there was an opening address and an overview of the university given by Naomi Graham, Vice Principal for International & External Relations. This was followed by an explanation of inclusive initiatives supporting international collaboration and international students by Stuart Easter, Director of Student Recruitment and International Affairs. There was also an introduction to the various activities which are organised by the Student’s Association, particularly their efforts aimed at helping students from diverse backgrounds, including international students, adapt to life in a new environment.
Following this, there was a panel discussion with four international students, which included an active Q&A session with participants from the consulates of various countries.
