Courtesy call on Cllr John McMillan, Provost of East Lothian

On Thursday, 28th May, Consul General Katsutoshi Takeda paid a courtesy call on Cllr John McMillan, Provost of East Lothian. Following the meeting, guided by the Provost, the Consul General visited the Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick. Additionally, they visited St Mary’s Collegiate Church in Haddington.
During the visit, both parties exchanged opinions on the activities of Japanese companies in the region and the friendship that has existed so far between the area and Japan. They agreed to work closely together to further strengthen this relationship in the future.
