On Wednesday, 15th July 2026, Consul General Katsutoshi Takeda paid a courtesy call on Dave Doogan MP, the Westminster Leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP), at the Palace of Westminster in London.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on a wide range of areas, including people-to-people exchanges, municipal partnerships, business, and sports diplomacy. They also agreed to continue working together to strengthen cooperation between Japan and Scotland.
