Fringe Japan 2026 – Performers' Showcase

On Tuesday 18th August the Consulate General of Japan in Edinburgh and the University of Edinburgh hosted a Performers’ Showcase, marking the final event of Fringe Japan 2026.
After opening remarks from Consul General Katsutoshi Takeda, a wide array of performers from and with links to Japan participating in this year’s Fringe Festival took to the stage. They kept the audience hugely entertained all afternoon with a diverse range of performances spanning several genres.
