| On 4th August, Michael Matheson MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero, Energy and Transport and the Consul General Nozomu Takaoka visited Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems Europe in Livingston. This factory has been steadily increasing production volume and employees even during the pandemic, by producing domestic heating systems using heat pump technology. As the Scottish Government is committed to a target of net-zero emissions of all greenhouse gases by 2045, high expectations have been shared for the role played by environmental technologies such as this . |
